Maarten De Ceulaer continues his exploration of color, light, and emotion through glass. For his most ambitious Stained Glass piece to date — a monumental chandelier — the Belgian designer was commissioned by Kelly Behun Studio for her latest Miami project, recently featured in AD.
Expanding the scope of the series, De Ceulaer also created table and floor lamps following the same conceptual approach — all available through Nilufar.
The collection revolves around vividly colored, handmade, mouth-blown glass. While the color combinations can be envisioned in advance and the patterns gently guided during production, the process always retains an element of unpredictability — ensuring that each piece is truly unique. These radiant works unfold as three-dimensional abstract paintings, capable of expressing a wide spectrum of moods and emotions.
